Just a heads up of people using Kontact or Kmail 4.10 or 4.11: If you see an akonadi_imap_resoruce process start to consume 30 to 50% sustained cpu, you are probably DOSing the Imap server. Its bad enough when its your own imap server, but people are getting calls from their ISP about this and getting banned. Many bug reports in bugs.kde.org, but the all seem to track back to this one: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=316840 as the root of the problem.
