[SLE] Weird mail problem with SuSE-E list
Hi! I have recently noticed, that I only get mail from this list from somewhere around 5PM CET (17:00) and until 7PM CET (19:00). Than the mail stops comming until the next day at five pm. Is the list set up that way or what, couse my mail is checked ævery four minutes, and the mail from this list should be sent directly to my mail server, which happens, but somehow only from five to seven PM. Can anyone from SuSE comment on this? I am from Slovenia - Central Europe if that matters. Seems like there's a server between your mail server and the SuSE mail server that holding and then forwarding the SuSE email during that specified timeframe. I usually have a telnet connection from my work to my local ISP (on the West Coast USA, 50 miles south of SuSE server) and I see email from the list coming consistently throughout the day. I do notice a 10-minute turn around between sending out an email and seeing it appear on the list. That's probably a normal delay between sending and receiving.
