Well, if I create a file with the .flv extension:

touch test.flv

then in the 'Open' dialog of Kaffeine it shows up as one of the 'Supported Media Formats'. So... with Kaffeine, I suppose ...?

Thanks, I tried that and all I got was first a black screen and then a flash of green and the movie ended.
