Just thought some people might be interested I can finally do my "job" without windows. Ok its a little bit clunky but Dreamweaver is now a reality on linux for those who don't want to use anything else finally you can smile dids

1) Buy Crossover Office. - think of it as paying for the development of wine. 2) Install DW4 using the other option CX-Office Setup 3) Change into the ~/cxoffice/support/dotwine/fake_windows/program files/macromedia/dreamweaver directory 4) ~/cxoffice/bin/wine ./Dreamweaver Wait a long time. First time Second time. Hit Enter when the title page appears Window management is a bit iffy. You have to minimise all windows you arent working on otherwise they get covered up. Dont use the colour picker, use the eyedropper for selecting colours. It appears in the cxoffice menus but it seems you need to change into the directory by hand to run it. Its klunky but it works. dids
