Dear listmembers, a friend of mine had tremendous problems with hplip. Due to this I kind of "reworked" the foo2zjs - package for leap. It supports hotplugging for those printers now "out of the box". My friend only owns a printer type hplj 1018 for which I was able to successfully test now. However, I would highly appreciate to get more testing on other / different installations / printers. If somebody on this list, 1.) still owns one of the following printers: hplj1000 hplj1005 hplj1018 hplj1020 hpljP1005 hpljP1006 hpljP1007 hpljP1008 hpljP1505 2.) would be willing to test a modified package of foo2zjs: I would be happy to receive emails from you (<VORNAME>.<NACHNAME><AT><t- online><DOT><de>). I will send him / her the src-rpm via email and would be very happy to receive feedback.
