[SLE] diferrent runlevels at boot
Hi! I hoep someone can tell me how to configure lilo.conf file, for lilo to allow me to boot into different runlevels? What I mean is I have a single-key lilo prompt, which means that each image has it's own key and when the key is pressed the image is booted without the need to press enter. I would like to have lets say image 1 with booting to runlevel 3 image 2 with booting to runlevel 2 image 3 with booting to single user mode Can this be done - if it can how to doit automatically (via /etc/lilo.conf) not by entering linux single at the lilo prompt. THX in advance! I used to do this. Add the literal keyword, for instance: image = /boot/vmlinux # your zImage file root = /dev/hda1 label = Single literal="S" #Single user mode read-only # mount read only On 9 Mar 00, at 14:49, Bostjan Muller wrote:

Hi! Problem solved... After the second reading of lilo docs I have found that this is done via append = "init=..." parameter.
