Hello, I've been trying to compile glibc-2.1.2 on my system and it isn't working. It compiles, but the test (make check, make install, etc) always says it's broken. This was originally a SuSE-6.1 install, but I replaced the kernel (now 2.1.12), the binutils (now 2.9.1) and the gcc (now 2.95.1) myself. The system is an Intel Pentium 233, with 80 Mb RAM and 4 GB Linux partition. Are there any known problems with glibc-2.1.2 on such a system. Ben Z.
