You probably used the "expert" or however is the name setting of yast mail setup. This variant does indeed want to use ldap. The setting is somewhere, but I don't remember where. It happened to me. I removed postfix and its configuration (watch, it will try to install sendmail instead), then reinstalled and configured again in yast plain mode. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
