[opensuse] iBall Tablet and openSUSE 12.1 Support
Hi, I have an iBall tablet pen [Pen Tablet 8060U] which I was using with Ubuntu. But I recently switched to openSUSE full time and this tablet doesn't work under openSUSE. I do need to use this tablet for my work. How to make it work under openSUSE? Not familiar with the iBall tablet but my wacom only began functioning when I installed wacom-kmp-desktop for kernel-desktop. note: I do not know, only suggesting. Looking at google, I see that perhaps wizardpen is needed for drivers and searching software.opensuse.org/search provides several possibilities. Needed to open "(Search options)" and select "include users' home projects". gud luk, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Patrick. WOW. I can't thank you enough. That tablet was collecting dust as Ubuntu did not support it after 10.10. I installed both drivers and EUREKA. The tablet is working. openSUSE rock! Thanks a lot :-) Swapnil Bhartiya

Thanks. Do you know how to calibrate the tablet? I have a dual monitor display and it is considering two monitors as entire screen so when I want to make a circle it makes an oval. Thanks. If there is a tablet-widget for your iBall, use it. If not, I guess google as I have no idea. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Oh, thanks. I am OK with disabling other monitor while I work with the tablet. The most important thing is that I am able to use it again :-) Thanks. Swapnil
