I am having a terrible time trying to download updates from the Novell/Suse update area - specifically for 9.1 & 10 I´ve tried with cable broadband and dialup modem - the result is the same. anybody experiencing the same problem? I get the impression, from this site and also from many mirrors, that
they're under very heavy load. My guess is that a lot of people are
currently trying to download SuSE 10.

The updates come from any of several servers. Check which server you're on, when you run YOU. Try a different one.

I had no problems doing updates of v9.1 of an Athlon desktop box and an IBM Thinkpad T21, both via broadband, approx. two months ago. Ken Hough

Unfortunately the update servers are also the ones that mirror all the iso's for 10.0 (Or the other way around, just a point of view) and everybody is lurking at the moment.
