printconf-gui on SUSE?
Hi all; I've recently moved from redhat/Fedora/Cent OS to SUSE 10. The one tool I really miss ids the printconf-gui, it made setting up any printer - even windows network printers dead simple and fast. Any thoughts on if I could install printconf-gui on my SUSE 10 box?

I certainly don't think it would be any easier than using YaST2 or opening Konqueror with localhost:631 in the URL line. CUPS and SuSE make it quite easy for you to work with printers. You might find these to be a bit better than what you were use too! regards, Lee

And I find no problem using: kmenu-->Utilities-->Printing-->Printing Manager to manage my printers. Works quite well by the way. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998
