you need smbmount - there are a number of graphical clients like LinNeighborhood (guess what that mimics). I connect to my NT4 shares fine using this. Don't forget that to access shares you need password/username pairs known by NT etc, and probably encrypted passwords unless you want to hack every Win pc's registry.

I too have had problems with that. I have been able to get my Windows machines to see and work with my box but I can not get my linux box to do it the other way around. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.
