Unable to open .pdf files in mozilla 0.9.8
Mozilla used to open attached .pdf files using Ghostview [SuSE 8.0] but now instead it insists on saving them [God knows where] and returning me to the hotmail logon screen. Sorry I used to be a Windows user but 98SE put an end to that.I get stuck in a continuous loop. Have other users had this problem. I can open the attached .pdf file in IE and Netscape. Is it a Microsoft bug, something I or another user have stuffed up, and if so how can it be fixed? ------------------------------------------------------------ This email was sent from Netspace Webmail: http://www.netspace.net.au

I thought this was a linux support list. Why not go the the M$ list and ask them?

Go to mozilla->edit ->preferences->helper applications->application/pdf Change that to what you want it to do. When it asks you where to save, just select a directory and filename, the last directory with a successful download is the default. If you lost a download, the first place to look is /home/username then maybe look in /.mozilla -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
