[opensuse] Server down?
I keep getting pop up messages on my computer about problems connecting to http://download.opensuse.org/repositiories/LibreOffice/Factory/openSUSE_13.1.... Anyone else getting this? It started yesterday. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

First, path is wrong - `:' is missing (repository is LibreOffice:Factory). But yes, apparently it stopped building for 13.1. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Do you mean there will be no more updates? That doesn't explain why that server has disappeared. Given that 13.1 is an Evergreen version, I'd expect the repos to remain, even if there are no more updates for LibreOffice. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Well, every project is free to chose what distributions and versions it builds for. There are LibreOffice:4.4 and LibreOffice:5.0 which publish for 13.1. If you want to know for sure, ask maintainers of these projects. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I think it's been longer than that. I noticed it over a week ago. In fact I mentioned it in a note posted to this list on Jan 16 @ 5:05 PM EST (22:05 UTC) in the thread about openSUSE about why does openSUSE prohit ftp transfers.... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Ah, I misread the server names - it's "rsync.opensuse.org" that is down (ipv6). I can ping it, but rsync doesn't work. Initially it was "No route to host", now it has changed to "Connection timed out". For the URL you mentioned I get a 404. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (1.8°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - your free DNS host, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
