If you have a problem with your firewall rules, you can return iptables to its default state without rebooting with the command: iptables --flush && iptables --delete-chain This flushes the three built-in chains and deletes any you may have added. Doing this leaves your system without firewalling, though, so use this command only when troubleshooting your firewall configuration disconnected from the Internet or with services disabled. _________________________________________________________________ To remove yourself from this list, see www.ssc.com/mailing-lists: http://www.ssc.com/mailing-lists. _________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
