Where does one configure applications that should start automatically when a user logs into KDE? Something like the Startup folder in that other less desirable OS. Thanks. ---- Bill Lugg Milstar Software Support Peterson AFB, CO

I suppose you did not nose around a bit in the /opt/kde3/share and ~/.kde directories? ;P Just drop a link in: System wide: /opt/kde3/share/autostart/ Per-user: ~/.kde/Autostart/ Perhaps worth mentioning: ;) KDE has some usefull info on their website. Have a look on http://www.kde.org/, left column, 4th header named 'Deploy': Sysadmin Documentation. Cheers, Leen

file:/home/Mike/.kde/Autostart I have two program links and one script file (chmod +X on the script) that start when I log into KDE.
