Hi Can anybody help me make my kids happy? I would really like to run World of Warcraft and Frozen Throne work on OpenSUSE 10.3. Shouldn't it be possible to do with Wine? I've tried to set ir up and run Heroes III or IV but no luck. A quick howto would be welcomed :-) -- Med venlig hilsen Kaare Rasmussen, Jasonic Jasonic Telefon: +45 3816 2582 Nordre Fasanvej 12 2000 Frederiksberg Email: kaare@jasonic.dk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

world of warcraft works perfectly in the latest version of wine, you need to tweak things regularly though with the patches,. crossover its actually supported 100%, and with cedega I believe the weekly patches get fixed regularly but from what I understand progress has slowed as they are paying more attention to the mac side of things lately. google for any of those you should be all set. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

On this subject, I just got a very nice 3d video card. Can someone suggest a good game (or something) to "show off" all the 3d? I looked at this. I see that I should have said "free" game :) I really don't want to pay 50$ just to try out my 3d card. Quake4 seemed to me to be just doom3 again, with different player models. Like doom 3, the screen is largely dark. In contrast I thought the graphics on rtcw were breathtaking. I just downloaded the demo for quake4. Nice graphics, the sound doesn't work though. Seems the people are talking gibberish. Seems kind of like Doom or Castle Wolfenstein from the '90s with improved Graphics. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
