Well, I see that some of 7.0 is up w/out a glibc-2.2 and I know this email will be blocked from your mail server unless the user performs some trick w/sendmail or did I get that email about it wrong?. All the programs I was using four months ago to record a record or mp3s on a cd are now all broken and none available will work. I was wondering why you didn't update rpm so we could use the major number 3.0 rpms from RedHat since in all our desperation to compile every single thing we would fail because we were users not programmers? If anyone knows of any combination of xx programs that will record a cd and will compile with 2.95.3 and the glibc that SuSE gives us let me know. My previous configuration was always up-to-date RawHide and I was using xcdrdao, cdrecord and qtecasound in a Gnome environment. I never could figure out XCDroast and I was using mpg123 to convert mp3s to cdr and sox to convert wav from records to cdr. Due to the release of KDE Beta 4 I have returned to using Helix Gnome instead of KDE-1.92 after compiling 1.93 from scratch and it still wouldn.t work! In April I did have midi working w/binars and alsa, but only sound works now w/alsa cvs and 2.4.0-test7.
