"Two key advantages are provided by the MandrakeSoft server package: First, there is a single install for all of the software packages without the need to patch the kernel and second, all of the packages, which on their own require considerable configuration scripting, can now be configured and monitored through a single GUI. Once installed, all configuration, monitoring, and control of MandrakeSecure MNF is done through a web browser on a system resident on the trusted internal LAN, which by default belongs to eth0. At least, that’s the way the theory goes." <http://www.open-mag.com/01863583279.htm> -- Fred A. Miller Systems Administrator Cornell Univ. Press Services fm@cupserv.org, www.cupserv.org
