Bug in nfsd from kernel 2.6.16.21-0.13
Hi, does anybody know something when there will be a fix for this problem? I'm asking because I don't know if I should wait for the fix or downgrade to the old kernel. Christian
Hi,
does anybody know something when there will be a fix for this problem?
And, what problem should that be?
I'm asking because I don't know if I should wait for the fix or downgrade to the old kernel.

I mean the bug described here: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=195040 I've done a kernel update to kernel 2.6.16.21-0.13 on my server . After that I often get the message "stale nfs handle" on nfs imported directories. Is there a howto or something like that on how to downgrad kernel on Suse 10.1? Christian Gerstner

Is there a howto or something like that on how to downgrad kernel on Suse 10.1? Just use Yast, Software Management, Version tab to install a different version.
