I have asked something similar to this before but I don't think I expressed myself well, so here goes again. I need an application that will help my wife create greeting cards, posters, etc. I need something that is 1 - 2 - 3 type easy. I am not expecting it to have loads of graphics, I figure I'll have to buy those. This will mainly be for Church use, but other things could come up. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I just don't have time to create all the templates in OOo by hand. -- See Ya' Howard Coles Jr. John 3:16!

The best I know of is StarOffice. For cards, create a template with paper to landscape mode, two identical columns with separation equal to twice the margin and a column break so that you start on the second column. I have a template I can send you. Put a heading at the top, then insert a picture. My wife draws them freehand with gimp. For posters, StarOffice drawings might help. JDL -- Non enim propter gloriam, diuicias aut honores pugnamus set propter libertatem solummodo quam Nemo bonus nisi simul cum vita amittit.

Any Help would be appreciated. I am using OpenOffice.org 1.0. I have found that it lakes terribly in pre-made templates. I guess StarOffice 6.0 would have much more. I just can't afford it right now. Do you know of a good place to get graphics, (like png, pcx, that kind of thing)? -- See Ya' Howard Coles Jr. John 3:16!
