I'd like to give this editor a try but not sure what rpm to install. I have found somewhere it should be able to open/save pdf files. Can anybody advice? 'Kile' is a very nice one, which comes with the distro. It writes pdf's when you install pdftex. To read pdf's you need a reader (obviously), like xpdf, the konqueror plugin or acroread. Another editor with a rather different feel is LyX. It can import/export LaTeX, but uses a somewhat different format natively. Theo -- Theo v.
