I have 3 machines a dell PII 266 with 2 SCSI drives, a clone Celeron 500 with 1 IDE drive and an IBM intellistation e-pro (6204) with 1 IDE drive All are running SuSE 7.3 and fdisk v2.11i When I run fdisk -l on the first two I get a list of the partitions on the machine When I run the command on the IBM it returns to the command prompt with out a response. Any idea why fdsik would behave differently on these three machines?
