Re: [opensuse] zypper problem updating libucil2
Markus, No, I hadn't tried that yet since I prefer to let zypper or Yast do it's thing as much as possible automatically and this problem version is the one zypper keeps asking for. I'll give the manual intervention a try this time to get over the hump. Thanks. //ted Markus Koßmann said the following on 05/22/2008 01:11 PM:

Folks,
I've been trying to update all my packages using 'zypper -n up -t package' for a couple of days now, but I keep getting the following error (see below) which appears to be a problem with the Packman repository and this particular RPM file. Any idea how I can get the repository owner to fix it? Or perhaps there's another workaround I can use short of turning off Packman altogether?
Did you allready try to download and install the more current libucil2-0.2.23 package from packman manually ( http://packman.unixheads.com/suse/10.3/i586/libucil2-0.2.23-0.pm.1.i586.rpm )?
Official bugreport address for packman is the mailing list packman@links2linux.de and there is an list archive at http://schiffbauer.net/pipermail/packman/

Try run `zypper refresh` before installing package. It update repository to reflect current state. If you want avoid this you can enable autorefresh by zypper mr --refresh alias Josef
