Hi: Is there a rpm package for SuSE 9.3? It seems to be targeted at debian-based systems only. Any other installation instructions would be welcome. Thank you. -- Alfredo J. Cole Grupo ACyC

You can use alien to convert the DEB package to an RPM and install it in SUSE. I tinkered with it a couple of weeks ago. The biggest issue is the need for some packages from Apple... they are not the easiest to install. I did get it installed, but it was very unstable... crashed a lot... generated pages of errors in the console etc. C.

The gizmo people told me it was not stable enough yet, so I guess I will wait until it's ready. Thank you. -- Alfredo J. Cole Grupo ACyC

Gizmo is now available for OpenSuSE 10.x. You can download the necessary RPM's from their site: http://www.gizmoproject.com/download-linux.html Hope that helps! Warm regards, Jordan Michaels Vivio Technologies http://www.viviotech.net/
