Hi everyone. I have the full distrubution of Suse and OSS 3.8.1z. Whenever I run the setup program it tries to recompile the "sndshield", and I get a "version error". I am wondering if A: it is the kernel I upgraded to 2.2.16 and it is not configured right since it was originally meant for the pre-installed kernel or B: I just need a new version. Can (and where) I download a new upgrade for free or is this a common problem with a simple solution. Thanx for your time. armaisn@channel1.com -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
Hi Andrew, Use ALSA, it is much easier and does the job flawlessly, INMHO. ---- "Andrew M." wrote:
