How and where should I touch in order to make this automatically each time is booted up? For commands that you want to run at every bootup, put them in /sbin/init.d/boot.local. Just put your insmod ppa at the end of that file and all should be well. One other thing - wouldn't it be better to use some form of modprobe, rather than a straight insmod? If you have proper entries in /etc/fstab and don't have a SCSI system, change alias scsi_hostadapter off to alias scsi_hostadapter ppa in /etc/modules.conf. That will get ppa loaded automatically when trying to access the ZIP drive.
