[opensuse] Re: [opensuse-factory] Re: Public development of AppArmored FireFox
So do I just import the profile referenced above? How do I differentiate launching normal vs. AppArmored Firefox.
Well, for now we don't have separate package yet, so this profile will affect your normal FireFox. To switch from AppArmored FireFox to normal FireFox, you must type: For normal mode: rcapparmor stop or for AppArmored mode: rcapparmor restart -- -Alexey Eremenko "Technologov" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

just copy it to /etc/apparmor.d WARNING: do not use Yast to import profile as it doesn't work ! I will open the necessary bugs.

The whole point of AppArmored FireFox is to counter IE7 Protected-Mode, which is well reviewed here: http://www.nynaeve.net/?p=121 The article is very nice, and I hope we can write something similar for AppArmored FireFox, after this product will be ready. -- -Alexey Eremenko "Technologov" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
So, anybody had any experience with the AppArmored profile I made ? or should I build an RPM package first ? considering the fact I don't really know how-to build RPMs, you'll have to wait for looong time :) before RPMs ready. -- -Alexey Eremenko "Technologov" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
