Hello, Given the httpd2 -S output shown at [1]. Question 1. - What directory does this http url translate to on localhost 127.0.0.1 http://127.0.0.1/cacti/xxxx is it /srv/www/htdocs/cacti/xxxx ? Since those lines are from 'access_log" and NOT "error_log", why do you think this is an error? The report of the access requires was quite correct. Presumably yes, the default config has things under "htdocs", but there is no reason you can' define other roots. I have. You will notice that under "htdocs" there is already favicon.ico index.html robots.txt which are not only the kind of things you'd expect to see t the 'root' but also in your snippet above "favicon.ico" is there. Its reasonable based on such observations to deduce that yes, this is where things go. I've experimented putting "cacti/xxxx" there and getting a +ve response. Have you tied that? Experimentation is an important part of science :-) At this point I recommends reading some 'how to' documentation, since you seem a bit confused. There are a number of good books on setting up apache; try your local library. Of course there is an immense amount of stuff on-line for all grades of experience. With the on-line stuff its easy enough to do a step-and-repeat perusal until you find something that is at your level. I have a few friends with "RTFM" shirts.
