In the Spanish list a similar problem was reported. Have a look at /var/log/Xorg.0.log, perhaps you see something of the sort: (WW) AllowEmptyInput is on, devices using drivers 'kbd', 'mouse' or 'vmmouse' will be disabled This person also saw this: - --------------------------------------------/etc//X11/xorg.conf-- Section "InputDevice" # Driver "kbd" will be disabled unless 'Option "AutoAddDevices" "off"' # is set in "ServerFlags" section. (...) EndSection Section "InputDevice" # Driver "mouse" will be disabled unless 'Option "AutoAddDevices" "off"' # is set in "ServerFlags" section. (...)
