I googled a bit about this but it all went above my head, speaking of system mail administration etc etc. My user is set up to "receive system mail", but this happens only when I have an active Konsole open or I cat /var/spool/mail/samjnaa manually. Is it possible for me to get system mail in my KMail inbox? Thanks. -- Tux #395953 resides at http://samvit.org playing with KDE 3.51 on SUSE Linux 10.1 $ date [] CCE +2006-05-22 W21-1 UTC+0530

I don't know if you can point Kmail directly to a directory, but that is one option - another would be to run a local POP3-server. /Per Jessen, Zürich

Menubar -> Settings -> Configure KMail... -> Accounts -> Add Choose 'Local mailbox', click [OK] Accept the defaults (unless you know better). ;) Cheers, Leen

Bonk bonk bonk... Should have searched KMail help first before searching Google. Thanks Leendert! -- Tux #395953 resides at http://samvit.org playing with KDE 3.51 on SUSE Linux 10.1 $ date [] CCE +2006-05-22 W21-1 UTC+0530
