http://www.geekonline.net says (translated from Swedish): "Due to a cooperation(?) problem, we are unable to deliver SuSE. We recommend Mandrake instead." (?) - Best guess at what the word meant, but something of that nature. All right, who's not playing nice, SuSE or GeekOnline? Granted SuSE is available from some other places in Sweden, but very few. And this is something SuSE should really look into. That's very bad publicity. :-( Joe --------------------------------------------------- The surgeon general has determined that using Microsoft products may be hazardous to your wallet. There are others in Sweden. E.g. here: http://www.linuxshop.nu/

Yeah, I said that as well. I'm just wondering why this company seems to have everything Linux-related, is unable to get SuSE products. And even worse, telling people looking for SuSE to buy Mandrake instead! I'd gone to this site because they had an ad in a Swedish magazine where they were not only advertising SuSE 8.0, but at a cheaper price than Linuxshop and others in Sweden I've seen. So I go to the site, and apparently they have everything BUT SuSE. And they're telling me, a SuSE fan, to buy Mandrake. Somethin' smells funny. :-( --------------------------------------------------- The surgeon general has determined that using Microsoft products may be hazardous to your wallet. Interesting. I had ordered SuSE 8.0 from http://www.linuxbutiken.com but got a message saying they couldn't deliver it. They recommended http://www.geekonline.net instead: : Det smärtar mig men för er som vill ha SuSE får jag rekommendera min : konkurrent http://www.geekonline.net -- Alexandr.Malusek@imv.liu.se

nohup.se verified my order. They're expecting delivery this week. So far they haven't reported any problems Anders

Or you could just try http://linuxstore.se . Got mail from them confirming the arrival of SuSE 8.0 this afternoon. /Richard ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anders Johansson" <andjoh@cicada.linux-site.net> To: <suse-linux-e@suse.com> Sent: Monday, April 29, 2002 3:09 PM Subject: Re: [SLE] And in Sweden... they
