Re: [SLE] Should I buy Partition Magic 5?
I'm glad they corrected it. When I was using it, my primary Linux machine was an Alpha, and my Intel was primarily for Windoz with Linux as a secondary boot. There was only one major application keeping me on Windoz, which was Quicken. As I started to spend more time on Linux I decided to use LILO as the boot manager. Using System Commander or Boot Magic to boot Linux is a two stage boot where LILO is one stage. Dick Delp wrote:
I recall using System Commander two or three years ago, and I thought it was a good boot manager and a poor partitioning tool.
But my recent experience and my comments are concerned with System Commander 2000. I now believe they have got it right.
