wine 20041201 doesn't have a config file under ~/.wine
I just compiled wine 20041201 on my SuSE 9.1 box. I opened konsole and ran 'wine' and it made a ~/.wine folder. With previous versions there was a 'config' file under ~/.wine, but now there isn't. I deleted ~/.wine and ran wine again hoping that a 'config' file would be generated. It wasn't. I want /usr/windows to be the 'C' drive, and would have usually edited the 'config' file to make it so. Running wine did generate a folder called 'dosdevices', a 'drive_c' folder, a file called 'system.reg', one called 'user.reg', and one called 'userdef.reg'. I have only used windows to play games, not edit registries before coverting to linux. What am I to do?

go to dosdevice and change the "c:" symlink to /usr/windows ln -sf /usr/windows ~/.wine/dosdevices/c: Ciao, Marcus
