Hello: I have installed openSUSE Leap 42.2. The process was very smooth, the installer is very nice. I only installed yet a minimal X windows system which offers IceWM window manager. Unfortunately Yast2 font size is too small for my eyes. How can I change Yast's font size? I ran qtconfig and set font size to 12 pt both as root and as normal user, but it did not had any effect. If I remember correctly previously it made the trick. I found that a y2controlcenter-qt.conf file is created after running Yast2 in /root/.config/YaST2 and ~/.config/YaST2. Can I add font setting to this file, if yes, how? Thanks, Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

qtconfig is for QT4. Try qt5ct.

OK, that worked. I had to install qt5ct package first. Logout/login also was necessary after changing font size. Thanks, Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Since the normal user invokes Yast2 as superuser, I resolved this by booting into the desktop ("KDE5") as root and changing the font size there. Purists may be horrified, but it worked for me! Thanks. I tried it but used the wrong tool, therefore it had no effect. See Felix Miata's answer. Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
