making a bootable rescue CD
Try as I may, I have never been able to burn a bootable rescue CD containing the SuSE 8.2 boot.iso file. Can anyone help by providing instructions? FX -- ______________________ Courtesy of SuSE Linux http://www.nibz.org
I use k3b and use the iso image from the ftp site = no problem from the k3b menu select tools->Write iso image Select the file (in my case the one I have just downloaded) Write it. What were you using and what problem do you have? David On Tuesday 02 September 2003 8:21 am, FX Fraipont wrote:

Hi! If the file boot.iso is a "bootable" image, you just have to: cdrecord -v dev=0,0,0 speed=12 -data boot.iso That´s all you need! []s Guilherme Ceschiatti On Tue, 2 Sep 2003 17:36:49 +0100, suse@avoncliff.com said:
