[SuSE Linux] linux single
Hi list, Is it possible to boot S.u.S.E. linux in "single user mode" ? When I try, at the lilo prompt (LILO Boot:), "linux single" or "s" or "S" I have the following error message: No such image. [TAB] shows a list. Why don't you press tab and see if your image is really linux. Or look in /etc/lilo.conf for the image name. Seems that lilo is have ing a problem with finding the image name when it says there is not image. charlesiii <A HREF="http://theverge.com</A">http://theverge.com</A>

You named your Linux system other than "linux". Press [TAB] to get the right name. Then on the prompt enter
single - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
