Ive been trying to format a Compact Flash card all morning with little progress. Out of curiousity I looked at kernel.org and noticed that there is some work in USB for the exact card that I am using on v2.4.5pre So can someone tell me what the steps are for setting up a new kernel once you download it. Is there anything specific I need to do to be able to compile it, Im comfortable compiling the kernels I get from SuSE including 2.4.4 etc Ive never needed to go that next step before. Thanks dids
