[SuSE Linux] NCP Problems
Hello! I have some problems with the NCP filing system. The first one is that I get a lot of NCP timeout messages. The second one is that M$ Visual C seemes to have problems with using the reexported Netware volume (see below), it keeps complaining that it is unable to write to it when compiling, even tho' saving files for example works. Now, it has got to be said that the way I do things is a little special. I use import the Netware volumes to my Linux server, and then exports them as shares using Samba. But I feel sure that Samba is not the problem, because after copying the files onto a ext2fs directory which is a share, everything works very well (even with MSVC) -- so I conclude that NCP must be the problem. Have anybody got any experiences to share with using NCP???
