Hi, I have sent three unsubscribe messages to the server so far over the last couple of days and all seem to have been ignored. I need to unsubscribe by Friday as shall be away and cannot risk mailbox becoming full and messages bouncing. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA Francesco

Why don't report that to the list owner? suse-linux-e-owner@suse.com

Check the FULL headers...are you sure you did it right? (not to say you don't know how or what ever...I remember seeing someone send a unsubscribe to the list a day or two ago, and that will not work but I don¹t remember who did it.) (Or you could sign up for a large free online email - something like gmail...and just have them go in that... Or have a rule telling anything from this list go to the trash... Just a thought) -- Thanks, George Suppose you were an idiot and suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself. Mark Twain

Assuming you sent an email to "suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@....", from your subscribed address, you should have received a confirmation email to which you have to answer. One chap with the same complaint as you was tagging that confirmation email as spam, and thus not seeing it. Check that. Other possible problem is your email being marked as spam by SuSE, but in that case you should get a rejection email. Check that as well. And, of course, as Ulf says, please contact the list owner, he can help you. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFCzSFRtTMYHG2NR9URArcAAJ9n1sXWlSTsC9YnufWUrYdbdoH0ZACbBW2O G3fo2gObdlfEo3HS66pZL4Q= =Y8Ie -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
