I also have this message in the current (!) SuSE tumbleweed with XFCE, so this seems to be
6 years old somehow!
After login there is a dialog with
"Enter password to unlock your login keyring
The login keyring did not get unlocked when you logged into your computer"
I was trying this:
but it did not help.
journalctl can only be seen as root:
Gcr: couldn't find the callback for prompting operation
Gcr: calling the PromptDone method on /org/gnome/keyring/Prompt/p3@:1.16, and ignoring
su: The gnome keyring socket is not owned with the same credentials as the user
su: gkr-pam: couldn't unlock the login keyring.
Was not able to find any solution to this.
