[opensuse] yast segv in y2base menu ncurses $NCTHREADS
Hello, When my machine (SuSE 10.1) : Linux version 2.6.16.27-0.6-default (geeko@buildhost) (gcc version 4.1.0 (SUSE Linux)) #1 Wed Dec 13 09:34:50 UTC 2006 runs for a while (at least a week) I'm not able to run yast anymore. Both from the command line and from the GUI. the commandline mentiones : /sbin/yast: line 233: 7147 Segmentation fault $ybindir/y2base menu ncurses $NCTHREADS I saved logfiles, screenshots, hardware profiles and the likes, but i first wanted to ask if someone had the same thing also. When I tried to install something with or update CPAN I also got an SEGV. and FireFox sometimes breaks down unexpectedly. The disturbing part is : when I reboot the machine all is well for a while. last lines of y2log just before crash (debug mode) : 2007-02-03 14:41:28 <2> home(8665) [detail] ResolvableImpl.cc(Impl):231 Strip self provides without edition in [package]taskjuggler-kde-2.2.0-16.i586 2007-02-03 14:41:29 <2> home(8665) [detail] ResolvableImpl.cc(Impl):231 Strip self provides without edition in [package]ulogd-1.23-17.i586 2007-02-03 14:41:29 <2> home(8665) [detail] ResolvableImpl.cc(Impl):231 Strip self provides without edition in [package]wbxml2-0.9.0-16.i586 2007-02-03 14:41:29 <2> home(8665) [detail] ResolvableImpl.cc(Impl):231 Strip self provides without edition in [package]words-6-16.noarch 2007-02-03 14:41:29 <0> home(8665) [susetags] SuseTagsImpl.cc(providePackages):683 SuseTagsImpl (fake) from /var/lib/zypp/cache/Source.XBZKCP/DATA/descr/packages.DU: 6589 packages Ivar Snaaijer -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
