[opensuse] 11.0 - Where?
I just got an email ad to preorder the OpenSuSE boxed set. Does this mean that it is available for download? If so, where is it? (I hope they have a bunch of mirrors.) Don Henson -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

If the blurb you got is the same as mine, it's for "pre orders." In other words, pay now, get the box shipped later...

No. That's why it's a *pre*-order ;-). It's not available yet, won't be until June 19th. -- Kevin "Yo" Dupuy Public Mail <kevin.dupuy@opensuse.org> Yo.media: 225-590-5961 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Actually, I already knew the definition of preorder :-) but I figured if they are accepting preorders for the boxed set, which takes time to produce, that just maybe the online version was already ready. As long as I have your attention, is there a URL where such information is published? (Every update, I have to ask the list where to get the online version. I'm embarrassed by having to ask even if you all are not getting tired of answering.) If you always start here http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/ you will always find the latest version whether it be the released version or the development version. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Why? It's always on the same site for all versions. Just go to www.opensuse.org and search for donwload, it is easy. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. So, you have to pre-order and then pre-wait for them to pre-ship. ;-) -- Use OpenOffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Better subscribe to opensuse-announce mailing list, and you'll receive such a notices :) Also, check http://software.opensuse.org/, right now it shows 10.3, when 11.0 is out, this page will change.
