On my SuSE system, I have this following error:
bash: For: command not found erik@eurit:~> su - Password:
When I shall switch to root, or as soon the erik@eurit:~> is comming up.
Where does this may come from ?.
Be more specific as to what leads up to the problem, and what the problem actually is. From what you write, it sounds like a shell script has a bad shebang line, or a comment line is missing in the script, or a "for" got changed to a "For". -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation

As it suddenly was there its difficult to be more specific. It just was there. But obiviously it does'nt give any problem so far.
