[opensuse] Mozilla.org equals to firefox?
Hello: I wanted to download seamonkey web browser for comparing the original and opensuse versions. I visited mozilla.org site but couldn't find either seamonker or any other mozilla programs except for firefox. The site doesn't even offer a search box. So the site suggest that mozilla only makes firefox and not any other program. The products page lists firefox only too. How can be a web page so inadequate like this? I recall that previously the other programs were included in the main site. Here are two screen shots taken from firefox browser: mozilla org main site, www.mozilla.org: http://i57.tinypic.com/33mc58p.png The products page, shown after clicking the "products" menu in the main page: http://i57.tinypic.com/oh1phz.png Or am I only blind when I can't see the links/mention of seamonkey, thunderbird etc. mozilla softwares? It is odd, I agree - I wanted the latest Thunderbird the other day and had to use Google to find the link. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (15.8°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free dynamic DNS, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Odd that you didn't consider google :) http://www.seamonkey-project.org/ Apparently they are set aside/separated from firefox and a continuation of netscape although still supported by mozilla foundation. And are developed by volunteers rather than paid developers by mozilla foundation. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Or the less publicized ftp site... https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/ -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
