[SLE] Everytime I send a mail to the list...
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Everytime I send a mail to this mailing list, I get a strange email in German. I don't read German, so I don't know what it is all about. I didn't click on the link in case it is spam. The subject line is always "Autoreply:" followed by the subject of my mail and the sender is always jan.seewald@my-mail.ch. The problem started only today. Has anyone had it? Here is a copy of that email: - ---cut here--- Hallo! Schön das Du Dich bei mir gemeldet hast. Hast jetzt noch Lust Dich mit mir zu treffen? I've had it, too. I guess that someone's set up an autoreply on their account because they're away on holiday or something. Can they be filtered off the list for the moment until this stops? It says: Nice that you got in touch with me. Are you still interested in meeting me ? I would surely appreciate it. Look at my new homepage and get in contact with me. My adress is: .... (here's the link) Kiss, Petra So this looks as one of the standard sex spam mails. Greeting Claudia
Yep, I've been getting the same thing. I think someone is sniffing/grabbing email headers from the list and using it for an autobot reply for their spam. I bet if you followed the link you would be getting loads of fun new spam messages. I could be wrong but I'm always suspicious of mails that ask you to got to a web site, at least those that resemble spam. Cheers, Curtis. On Wednesday 13 November 2002 10:40, Thibaut Cousin wrote:
