project management ?
Hi, Is any reasonable, stable software for project management under Linux ? Any suggestion, experience will be greatly appreciate. Jul.
I use MrProject: http://mrproject.codefactory.se/ and DotProject: http://www.dotproject.net/ See http://linas.org/linux/pm.html as well. If you find anything else please let me know as well. I am very interested in anything related to PM. At 08:14 AM 3/29/2004, Julo wrote:

It si, I just insall, OK how to invoke it ? command line: /usr/bin/taskjuggler doesn't work. Docs [online ] doesn't provide info about postinstalation setups. So any help appreciate? Jul
You can also try MrProject... also a decent tool for project managment... Daniel Julo wrote:

Looks good but, it is cashing with subtasks. I can save but I can't open previously saved file. It is giving me segmentation fault. I do not have time [at this moment ] to play with this. Jul

I scratched my head over this a while ago - basically you have to learn a task-definition language (without a clear set of instructions or examples to work from), then create a source file to pass through the program (or open with the KDE viewer app - which I found unusably unstable). All in all, if you're not planning a trip to Mars it looks overkill. £0.02 Dylan -- "I see your Schwartz is as big as mine" -Big Helmet
