I have a fresh SuSE7.2 install on an i386 laptop. How can I make a .config file of the current kernel configuration. Everything seems to be running well right now but I'd like to recompile the kernel to support SCSI [needed by XCDroast]. -- +------------------------------------+ Mac Q. You don't need to recompile the SuSE 7.2 kernel to get SCSI support. You just
have to specify the correct SCSI kernel parameter when you boot the system
either using insmod/modprobe (modular drivers, e.g. aha152x) or LILO (for
drivers already compiled in kernel, e.g. aic7xxx).
