[opensuse] Amarok progress bar sluggish
I've been using Amarok for years to listen to music. However, lately there seems to be a problem with the progress bar that shows the position in the music. Instead of moving steadily, along with the times displayed changing, as the music plays, the display seems to freeze. Then at some point it will jump and freeze again. At the moment, one song is playing, but the displays shows the previous song about 2/3 the way through. This is a very recent issue. Has anyone else noticed it? I'm running KDE on Leap 42.3. tnx jk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
One other thing, if I minimize it and then reopen, the time updates and freezes again. The music plays normally. On 11/22/2017 10:03 AM, James Knott wrote:

It's 2.8.0 here too and I'm also running pulseaudio. However, I wonder if it's more a desktop issue than the app. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

aren't you running an *old* kde rather than plasma5/kde? dt may indeed be the problem. sooner or later, you will upgrade to something as you will see more and more failures/hickups/.... -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
