I was just using Minicom to see if my modem work and I am getting this mesage. Knowing almost nothing about how modems work I was wondering what exactly this means. I think the most important thing this has done for me is told me that my modem does work, I think. I have been trying to get myself connected to my ISP for some time with no luck. Though I am trying to do it the hard way. I would like to know how to set up all the scripts by hand so I don't have to rely on some other program to do it for me. If anyone can tell me what scripts need configuring and what each one does I would really appreciate it.
